This bulletin applies to 2016 RAM 2500 and 3500 pickups and 3500/4500/5500 cab chassis vehicles, built on or before June 10, 2016, equipped with a 6.4L Heavy Duty V8 Hemi. The customer may complain about an engine hesitation and/or stumbling, which might involve the EGR valve.

Using a mirror, view the EGR valve and record the serial number on the repair order.  The EGR serial number replacement list is located on the TechCONNECT Home page. If the serial number on the valve appears on the list, replace it with P/N 04627465AF, along with a tube gasket  04627612AA.
